Sunscreen

Do you wear Sunscreen on a daily basis?

We have clients visit the clinic, confessing to not wearing a daily SPF. We can’t stress how important it is to take of your skin. Most people associate factor 30 with direct sun only. Some people think that, unless it is sunny, there is no need for sun protection. This couldn’t be further from the truth!

UVA or UBV?

There are two kinds of ultraviolet rays emitted from the sun. UVA and UVB. UVB rays cause sunburn and their intensity varies from summer to winter.  UVA rays have the same intensity during summer or winter. It is important to know that UVA rays are the ones that penetrate deeper into your skin and can cause skin aging and skin cancer. UVA damage is not reversible and we must protect ourselves at all times of the year from these rays.

Full consultation will be offered to all clients. Please book your appointment here.

Wearing sunscreen slows down the development of wrinkles and premature aging of the skin. It also prevents the formation of brown spots and skin discoloration. Our face are constantly subjected to harmful UVA and UVB rays, whether it’s sunny, rainy, cloudy or anything in between. Wearing good quality sunscreen can help protect damage to the skin.
